Job description

AI Product Lead, Internal Agents | New York (on-site) | $175K–$275K + equity

My client is a fast-growing, well-funded AI company ($100M raised) building one of the first truly AI-native companies at scale. They are hiring two people into a small internal team of builders, former founders, and engineers who embed with teams across the business and build intelligence into how they work.

This is not about making people 10% more productive. The team has already shipped agent teammates that push code to production, systems that keep company knowledge current automatically, and services that diagnose and repair themselves. The goal is zero-human loops that handle entire jobs end-to-end.

What you must have

  • High-growth startup experience: time as a PM or engineer at a B2B SaaS or AI startup (Series B to Series E), in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
  • The ability to build: you either code proficiently or are a serious power user of AI coding tools. You must be able to build with AI yourself.
  • A vision for AI across a business: you can see where AI will drive efficiency company-wide, and you can prioritize the initiatives with the greatest long-term value.

You will also have

  • 5 to 15 years of experience as a product manager or founder building B2B software products
  • A STEM degree from a leading university in the US, Canada, or Europe
  • Clear thinking and communication that stands out in conversation
  • A record of staying and delivering in your roles, not hopping between them

It's a bonus if you

  • Are a former founder or were a very early PM hire
  • Have worked with engineers on a highly technical product (AI agents, data platforms, or similar)
  • Understand SDLC automation in depth

What you'll be doing

  • Building and shipping internal AI agents that push code to production, manage company knowledge, and handle whole jobs end-to-end
  • Owning context architecture: defining sources of truth and keeping documentation in sync with reality
  • Designing integrations and MCPs that make internal tooling accessible to agents
  • Creating evaluation suites, monitoring agent trajectories, and iterating to improve performance
  • Inventing new infrastructure, interfaces, and operating models for human-agent collaboration

The details

  • $175K–$275K base plus highly competitive equity
  • Full-time, 5 days a week in the office in Flatiron, New York City
  • Open to visa transfers (e.g. OPT, H-1B)
  • Unlimited token budget for coding agents

Visa sponsorship record

No public sponsorship records found

We didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name Vermillion Analytics in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).

Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.

Which visas can work for this job

Occupation: Marketing Managers (SOC 11-2021) — estimated from the job title.

  • Mentioned in the listing

    H-1B, OPT

  • H-1B cap-exempt employer

Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).

  • TN (citizens of Canada and Mexico)

This role doesn't clearly match a profession on the USMCA (TN) list.

  • E-3 (Australia) and H-1B1 (Chile, Singapore)

Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.

  • O-1 (extraordinary ability)

For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.

Salary vs prevailing wage
