Job description
The University of Rochester's affiliate hospital network is seeking Generalist OB/GYN Physicians to join our established practice sites. We have openings w/ our affiliate hospitals in Dansville (Noyes Memorial Hospital), Wellsville (Jones Memorial Hospital), located in the beautiful and scenic Finger Lakes and Southern Tier regions, respectively. We also have several available opportunities for Generalist OBGYN and Women's Health NPs in the Rochester area, including University Gynecology & Childbirth Associates (Brighton NY), and West Ridge OBGYN (Greece NY). Enjoy working alongside supportive MD/DO colleagues, Certified Nurse-Midwives (CNMs), Women's Health APPs, nursing teams and practice management professionals. Our providers cover full-spectrum OBGYN, including outpatient clinic, GYN procedures (in our hospital's ORs or ambulatory surgery centers) and covering L&D call. Enjoy the opportunity to care for families across multiple generations and establish long-term, lasting relationships w/ patients and their families. Our regional affiliates also have access to Da Vinci robotic surgery for MIS procedures. Depending on your circumstances, we may be able to accommodate a J1 waiver, O-1 visa, and/or H1-B sponsorship. In addition, we offer competitive compensation, generous benefits, potential UR faculty appointment commensurate w/ experience, opportunities for teaching and/or research based on interest, and good work-life balance. Our communities are safe, friendly, family-focused, and residents enjoy a cost of living below the national average. There is outdoor opportunity spanning all four seasons, and to suit every kind of lifestyle - whether it's outdoor activity such as hiking, skiing or fishing, or whether it's exploring the many farm-to-table restaurants, award-winning wineries and breweries in the area or taking a hands-on class with a local artisan. Come and enjoy a spectacular lifestyle in Upstate NY. Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited OB/GYN Residency, B/C or B/E (ABOG) and have or be eligible for NYS medical licensure. New and recent graduates as well as experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. EOE, including disability/protected veterans
Visa sponsorship record
No public sponsorship records found
We didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name University of Rochester Medicine in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).
Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.
