Family Medicine Physician Opportunity

Start Date: Immediate

Compensation: $295,000 - $350,000 annually

We invite you to become a part of a well-established primary care team that collaborates closely with a local hospital and a family medicine residency program. This group consists of five physicians, three advanced practice providers (APPs), and a specialist in Behavioral Health. Due to significant growth and the impending retirement of a cherished provider, we are in urgent need of your expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 100% outpatient family medicine services with no hospital duties.
  • Manage a patient load of 18-22 individuals per day.
  • Participate in call coverage on a 1:6 basis, serving primarily as backup for Family Medicine Residents.
  • Engage in a diverse range of services including Family Medicine, Behavioral Health, Preventive Care, Chronic Care Management, Surgical Procedures, and Laboratory Services.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
  • Support for J1 and H1B visa candidates is available.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in Family Medicine.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Community Highlights

Our community offers a welcoming atmosphere where residents enjoy friendly interactions and a sense of safety, bolstered by a low crime rate. The absence of state income tax and a low cost of living make this an attractive place to reside.

Home to two major universities, the area boasts rich cultural diversity and a variety of amenities. A local airport facilitates quick and affordable travel options, including international flights. This city strikes a balance between a close-knit community feel and the conveniences of urban living.

Benefits and Growth Opportunities

  • Competitive salary with an average of $350,000 for a four-day work week.
  • Loan forgiveness or retention bonus of up to $100,000.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.

We are dedicated to being a trusted and innovative partner in the healthcare sector, striving to enhance the quality of patient care and make healthcare more accessible and effective.

Which visas can work for this job

Occupation: Physicians, All Other (SOC 29-1229) — estimated from the job title.

  • Mentioned in the listing

    H-1B

  • H-1B cap-exempt employer

Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).

  • TN (citizens of Canada and Mexico)

This kind of role may fit the USMCA profession “Physician (teaching or research only)” — it depends on the actual duties. No lottery, no cap; you need the matching degree or license.

  • E-3 (Australia) and H-1B1 (Chile, Singapore)

Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.

  • O-1 (extraordinary ability)

For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.

Salary vs prevailing wage

Level III (experienced)

Physicians, All Other · Washington (state median of areas). Annual prevailing wages set by the Department of Labor (OFLC).

LevelPrevailing wageH-1B lottery odds*
Level I$112,528~15%
Level II$178,006~31%
Level III$254,936~46%
Level IV$314,964~61%

This job pays $295,000–$350,000 a year — that's Level III (experienced). In the wage-weighted H-1B lottery a Level III registration gets 3 entries; estimated selection chance about 46% — better than average.

* Odds are DHS projections for the FY2027 wage-weighted lottery (actual results vary by year and employer). Since the FY2027 cap season the H-1B lottery is weighted by wage level: Level I = 1 entry, II = 2, III = 3, IV = 4. The level is set by the offered wage against the prevailing wage for the occupation and worksite. Separately, a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions for workers outside the US was announced in 2025; as of September 2026 a federal court ruling keeps it unenforceable while appeals continue — check the current status.
