Job description

Build a Physical Therapy Career With One-on-One Care, Clinical Growth, and a Schedule That Supports Your Life

You became a Physical Therapist to help people move better, regain independence, and return to the activities that matter most to them. At FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers Sherman, you will have the time, support, and clinical variety to do exactly that. You will provide one-on-one care in 40-minute appointments while treating a diverse outpatient population that includes orthopedic, vestibular, balance, neurological, sports, and mobility-related conditions. Whether you are a new graduate looking for mentorship or an experienced Physical Therapist ready to continue expanding your skills, you will join a growing, family-owned clinic where your clinical judgment matters, your ideas are heard, and your development is supported.

What You Will Receive

  • $85,000 to $95,000 annual salary
  • One-on-one patient care
  • 40-minute appointments
  • Monday through Friday schedule
  • Schedule options of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekends
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Paid time off
  • 401(k) with company matching after one year
  • Assistance with health insurance
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Structured mentorship and clinical training
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Exposure to orthopedic, vestibular, balance, and neurological rehabilitation
  • Free uniforms
  • Company events
  • Team lunches provided one to two times per week
  • Opportunity to grow with a family-owned, expanding Physical Therapy clinic

Practice Physical Therapy With More Time for Your Patients

Great Physical Therapy requires more than moving patients through a schedule. You need time to evaluate movement, understand what is limiting your patient, develop the right plan of care, and adjust treatment as they progress. At FYZICAL Sherman, you will work with patients during individual, 40-minute appointments, allowing you to stay present, think clinically, and provide care built around the person in front of you. You will have the freedom to use your clinical judgment while remaining connected to a supportive team.

Expand Your Physical Therapy Skill Set

Your caseload may include patients receiving care for:

  • Outpatient orthopedic conditions
  • Vestibular disorders
  • Balance and fall prevention
  • Dizziness and concussion-related symptoms
  • Neurological conditions
  • Sports injuries
  • Post-operative rehabilitation
  • Chronic pain
  • Strength and mobility limitations

This variety allows you to strengthen your clinical reasoning while developing experience across multiple areas of Physical Therapy. Orthopedic or vestibular experience is valuable, but specialty experience is not required. If you are motivated to learn, the team is prepared to help you develop those skills.

New Graduate Physical Therapists Are Welcome

Your first Physical Therapy position should give you the support to become a confident clinician. At FYZICAL Sherman, new graduates will have access to mentorship, clinical training, and ongoing collaboration as they transition into independent practice. You will have opportunities to:

  • Strengthen your evaluation and clinical reasoning skills
  • Build confidence developing individualized plans of care
  • Learn from experienced rehabilitation professionals
  • Expand your orthopedic treatment skills
  • Develop experience with balance and vestibular rehabilitation
  • Ask questions and receive clinical guidance
  • Continue developing your own treatment style
  • Grow into a confident and independent Physical Therapist

Experienced Physical Therapists Can Keep Growing Too

If you already have experience, this is an opportunity to bring your expertise into a clinic that values clinician input and continued growth. You will have the autonomy to use your clinical judgment, contribute ideas, expand your specialty skills, and work with a varied patient population. As the clinic continues to grow, you will have the opportunity to become an important part of its long-term development and patient experience.

What You Will Do

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations
  • Identify movement restrictions, functional limitations, and impairments affecting daily activity
  • Develop individualized plans of care
  • Establish measurable treatment goals and expected time frames
  • Provide evidence-based Physical Therapy interventions
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercise and functional progression
  • Monitor patient outcomes and treatment effectiveness
  • Modify plans of care based on patient response and clinical findings
  • Educate patients about their condition, treatment plan, and continued care
  • Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, confidence, and independence
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to provide an exceptional patient experience

What We Are Looking For

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree or equivalent
  • Current Texas Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Texas licensure
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Commitment to individualized, patient-centered care
  • Ability to collaborate with a supportive clinical team
  • Interest in continued professional growth
  • Orthopedic or vestibular experience is preferred but not required
  • New graduate Physical Therapists are encouraged to apply
  • Qualified international candidates requiring visa sponsorship are welcome to apply

We didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers Sherman in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).

Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.

Which visas can work for this job

Occupation: Physical Therapists (SOC 29-1123).

  • Mentioned in the listing

    H-1B, OPT

  • H-1B cap-exempt employer

Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).

  • TN (citizens of Canada and Mexico)

This kind of role may fit the USMCA profession “Physiotherapist / Physical Therapist” — it depends on the actual duties. No lottery, no cap; you need the matching degree or license.

  • E-3 (Australia) and H-1B1 (Chile, Singapore)

Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.

  • O-1 (extraordinary ability)

For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.

Salary vs prevailing wage

LevelPrevailing wageH-1B lottery odds*
Level I$83,762~15%
Level II$96,512~31%
Level III$109,262~46%
Level IV$122,013~61%

This job pays $85,000–$95,000 a year — that's Level I (entry). In the wage-weighted H-1B lottery a Level I registration gets 1 entry; estimated selection chance about 15% — below average.

* Odds are DHS projections for the FY2027 wage-weighted lottery (actual results vary by year and employer). Since the FY2027 cap season the H-1B lottery is weighted by wage level: Level I = 1 entry, II = 2, III = 3, IV = 4. The level is set by the offered wage against the prevailing wage for the occupation and worksite. Separately, a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions for workers outside the US was announced in 2025; as of September 2026 a federal court ruling keeps it unenforceable while appeals continue — check the current status.
