About the Role: We're hiring a Account Executive - MarTech for a client as their second AE hire, helping scale revenue for an all-in-one marketing measurement platform. You'll sell to VPs of Marketing & Growth at consumer brands, closing mid-market deals in the $15K-$50K ACV range and helping shape how the company sells as it grows beyond $2M ARR. This is a hands-on, full-cycle sales role. You'll be responsible for generating pipeline, managing sales cycles, and closing deals, while advising customers on attribution, conversion tracking, and marketing measurement.
What You'll Do:
- Close full-cycle mid-market deals with typical 1-3 month sales cycles, with approximately 60-70% of your time focused on closing.
- Generate and qualify your own pipeline, spending approximately 30-40% of your time on pipeline generation.
- Build relationships with marketing agency partners who refer clients.
- Advise customers on attribution, conversion tracking, and marketing measurement with credibility.
- Move upmarket on larger $50K-$100K+ deals to complement the existing AE's strengths.
- Bring structured customer insights back to Product to influence roadmap and positioning.
- Work closely with Marketing and agency partners to develop new pipeline channels.
What We're Looking For: We're looking for sales professionals who combine strong closing experience, pipeline generation skills, and technical product knowledge. You should be comfortable working with senior marketing buyers and operating with a high degree of autonomy in an early-stage environment.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 1 year of quota-carrying closing experience.
- Demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
- Experience closing $10K-$100K ACV mid-market deals.
- Experience selling technical products, particularly MarTech, analytics, or performance marketing solutions.
- Ability to speak credibly about attribution, conversion tracking, or marketing measurement.
- Experience selling to Marketing, Growth, or similar business buyers.
- Ability to manage both pipeline generation and closing.
- Based in NYC and able to work in-office 5 days/week.
- High agency and comfort operating in a lean, early-stage environment with no formal training or hand-holding.
Nice-to-Have:
- Background in digital or performance marketing, agency-side or in-house.
- Practical understanding of paid acquisition.
- Experience at an early-stage startup.
- Full-cycle selling experience including outbound pipeline generation.
- Experience working with marketing agencies as a source of pipeline.
Why Join?
- Join a high-growth company with $2M+ ARR and 200+ customers.
- Help shape the go-to-market motion as the second AE hire, with significant ownership as the sales team scales.
- Join a proven sales motion with strong existing AE performance.
- Leverage extensive AI-native sales tooling designed to help the sales team close more effectively and efficiently.
- Work closely with a lean, high-performing team in a 5-day-a-week NYC office environment.
- Opportunity to take on broader GTM ownership as the company scales.
