About the Role
We are looking for skilled physicians who are passionate about providing high-quality care and engaging in various clinical trials available through our extensive network. The ideal candidate will possess or be eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license and should be board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
You will be joining a recently updated facility on the UPMC Somerset campus, which offers cutting-edge medical oncology treatments and access to clinical trials. Our integrated, physician-led network ensures that you will be well-supported by a dedicated team of medical oncologists, hematologists, advanced practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and other support personnel.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting outpatient and inpatient medical consultations
- Administering chemotherapy and supportive therapy visits
- Participating in clinical trials
Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with shared on-call coverage among physician colleagues.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary: $500,000 plus wRVU bonuses
- Signing Bonus: $25,000
- Partnership Track: Available with no buy-in required

Somerset Hospital is a licensed facility with 118 beds, serving approximately 3,900 inpatients, over 140,000 outpatients, and nearly 18,000 emergency cases each year. Emergency care is available around the clock, supported by ancillary services such as radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, and hospice care.
