Job description
About the company
Our client is a Series A enterprise AI company that turns complex business processes into reliable software. Its technology powers critical workflows for Fortune 500 companies with more than 98% quality across over 500,000 production runs. The company has raised $50 million from leading technology investors, is valued at approximately $500 million, and is scaling rapidly from an early-stage team.
About the role
We are hiring the first dedicated operations and compliance leader to build the compliance function from the ground up and accelerate enterprise go-to-market execution. The role combines compliance, security coordination, GTM enablement, finance operations, and general company-building. You will work onsite five days per week in San Francisco, which is preferred, or New York.
What you will do
- Own and build the compliance program across SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and related frameworks
- Accelerate enterprise deals by managing security reviews and vendor questionnaires
- Design and automate operational processes using AI and LLM tools
- Coordinate security, finance, go-to-market, and other cross-functional workstreams
- Reduce manual compliance work through better systems, documentation, and automation
- Define a meaningful portion of the role based on evolving company needs
- Build the operating rhythm for a new function in a fast-growing environment
Requirements
What we are looking for
- Experience in product strategy, management consulting, or startup operations, with direct exposure to Payments, Accounting, or Insurance
- A top tier management consulting background, or startup and founder experience at Seed to Series C where you wore many hats across sales, implementation, and strategy
- A track record taking a new product or a new market from zero to one, and owning the outcome
- P&L ownership, or M&A and diligence experience running several workstreams at once (banking, private equity, venture, or corporate development also work)
- Built and executed go to market strategies for B2B SaaS products yourself, not just contributed to them
- Bachelor's degree from a top tier university
Bonus points
- MBA, or a top tier management consulting pedigree
- CPA, or hands on experience with payment processing, AP and AR
- Comfort demoing a technical product to enterprise buyers
Location and work model
- New York City, hybrid, 4 to 5 days per week in office
- Some travel as needed
- Open to visa transfers (OPT and H1B transfers)
What we are looking for
- Three to seven years of experience in business operations, consulting, compliance, or a chief of staff role
- Hands-on exposure to at least one compliance program or framework such as SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS
- Experience at a high-growth Series A to Series C startup or in a top-tier consulting environment
- A generalist operator who is comfortable building processes from scratch
- Active use of AI or LLM tools to automate repetitive work
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Willingness to work onsite full-time in San Francisco or New York
Nice to have
- Experience accelerating enterprise sales through security and compliance work
- Familiarity with GRC platforms and cloud infrastructure
- Finance operations or security operations exposure
- Experience supporting Fortune 500 customers
Benefits
- $100,000 to $210,000, plus competitive equity in a company valued above $2B
- 100% covered medical, dental, and vision
- Unlimited PTO
- All meals provided in the office
- Relocation package
- Commuter benefit
- Base salary of $180,000 to $225,000
- Substantial early-stage equity
- Preventive medical, dental, and vision care covered at 100%
- Flexible spending accounts, long-term disability coverage, and life insurance
- Visa transfers and new sponsorships may be considered for qualified candidates
Visa sponsorship record
No public sponsorship records foundWe didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name Raydar in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).
Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.
