Job Title: Filmmaker (Bilingual - English/Chinese)
Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 per year
Employment Type: Full-time

Company Overview: We are in the process of launching a new entertainment company dedicated to creating compelling social media content and short films. As we build our brand from the ground up, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Filmmaker to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or a professional with a background in filmmaking who is passionate about storytelling, brand development, and cross-cultural engagement. We are looking for creative minds to join us on this journey!
Responsibilities:
- Plan, shoot, and edit video content for short films and digital media projects
- Assist in all aspects of video production, including pre-production, filming, and post-production
- Collaborate with the team to develop creative concepts and storytelling ideas
- Create bilingual (English/Chinese) video content when needed
Qualifications:
- Previous filmmaking experience is preferred.
- Degree in Filmmaking
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Strong command of both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
- Familiarity with Chinese and U.S. social media platforms
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Creativity, initiative, and attention to detail
