Role Details

  • Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer
  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with strong Go and React/TypeScript
  • VISA: USC/GC/TN/EAD/H1B/L1/L2
  • Visa sponsorship details: Open to visa transfers (H1B transfers)
  • On-site work policy- 5 days in-office in San Francisco
  • Full-time position
  • Tech stack: Go, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, React, TypeScript, GCP, Terraform, Docker, Datadog, GitHub

Dealbreaker/ Must have:

  • Work experience: Shipped production Go services with concrete, verifiable contributions (not just leveraged/used Go)
  • Hard skills: Idiomatic Go + React/TypeScript + Python + PostgreSQL
  • Soft skills: Can iterate on features based on direct customer feedback (must be customer-facing)
  • Must be on-site 5 days/week in SF or NYC
  • Seniority: 5 - 10 years of experience in full-stack software engineering, with strong Go and React/TypeScript
  • Work experience: Built production LLM integration systems (not just Python/LangChain prototyping)
  • Production LLM/AI integration experience (APIs, agents, orchestration)
  • H1B transfer, STEM OPT, or TN visa acceptable

Nice-to-have

  • Early-stage startup experience or mix of big tech + startup
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GCP, Docker)

Traits to avoid

  • Only prototyping experience; no concrete production systems shipped (e.g., resume lists only Python/LangChain/SQL with no infra depth)
  • Updated
  • 7+ years exclusively at large companies with no startup or high-autonomy experience

About Drawbridge:

Drawbridge is building the platform for the world's largest organizations to run their business operations. In the course of doing their work, hundreds of millions of people across the world's enterprises generate operational knowledge every minute. Today, virtually none of it is captured, much less accessible to agentic systems.

As agents take on more work, that knowledge becomes the most valuable asset in the company. Drawbridge reverse-engineers it from the ground up and turns it into a living specification that the business owns, evolves, and operates from.

Drawbridge is defining a new category at the intersection of process intelligence and agentic AI. Just a few months in, the company is already transforming operations for large enterprises, building on a thesis that will reshape how the world's largest organizations operate.

The founding team has built and shipped process discovery, knowledge capture, and browser-use agents for Fortune 500 enterprises across prior roles at Orby AI and Scribe. The seed round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners alongside founders and executives from companies like Sierra, turbopuffer, Baseten, Decagon, Stripe, and Datadog.

Which visas can work for this job

Occupation: Software Developers (SOC 15-1252).

  • Mentioned in the listing

    H-1B, OPT

  • H-1B cap-exempt employer

Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).

  • TN (citizens of Canada and Mexico)

This kind of role may fit the USMCA profession “Computer Systems Analyst (or Engineer, for engineering-degree holders)” — it depends on the actual duties. No lottery, no cap; you need the matching degree or license.

  • E-3 (Australia) and H-1B1 (Chile, Singapore)

Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.

  • O-1 (extraordinary ability)

For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.

  • STEM OPT extension (F-1 students)

Requires an E-Verify employer. We didn't find this company in the E-Verify list — ask HR.

Salary vs prevailing wage

Software Developers · San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, CA. Annual prevailing wages set by the Department of Labor (OFLC).

L1L2L3L4
LevelPrevailing wageH-1B lottery odds*
Level I$137,093~15%
Level II$165,131~31%
Level III$193,149~46%
Level IV$221,187~61%

The listing has no salary, so we can't place it on a wage level. Ask the employer which wage level they'd file at: Level III–IV registrations get 3–4 entries in the H-1B lottery.

* Odds are DHS projections for the FY2027 wage-weighted lottery (actual results vary by year and employer). Since the FY2027 cap season the H-1B lottery is weighted by wage level: Level I = 1 entry, II = 2, III = 3, IV = 4. The level is set by the offered wage against the prevailing wage for the occupation and worksite. Separately, a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions for workers outside the US was announced in 2025; as of September 2026 a federal court ruling keeps it unenforceable while appeals continue — check the current status.
