Job description
*About TuTugether* TuTugether is a growing creative experience brand offering hands-on activities such as rug tufting, decoden, fluid art, painting, and other DIY experiences. Our locations are designed for date nights, friends, families, birthdays, private events, and anyone looking for a fun and creative experience. We currently operate 8 locations and are looking for a creative, proactive, and highly organized Marketing & Social Media Manager to help grow the TuTugether brand. *About the Role* This is not a position where you simply schedule social media posts. We are looking for someone who actively finds opportunities to grow the brand — especially through Instagram, TikTok, local influencers, content creation, and community partnerships. A major part of this role will be proactively searching for local influencers and creators, reaching out to them, arranging collaborations, and making sure high-quality content is consistently published for each TuTugether location. The ideal candidate is someone who understands social media naturally, enjoys discovering creators and trends, is comfortable reaching out to people they don’t know, and can turn ideas into action without constant direction. OPT/CPT/H1B accepted. Potential H-1B sponsorship for outstanding performance and contributions *Key Responsibilities* Influencer & Creator Marketing \* Proactively search Instagram and TikTok for relevant local influencers and creators in each TuTugether market. \* Reach out to creators through Instagram DM, TikTok, email, and other channels. \* Build and maintain an active influencer pipeline for all 8 TuTugether locations. \* Coordinate creator visits with individual stores. \* Arrange complimentary experiences, paid collaborations, giveaways, promo codes, and other partnerships when appropriate. \* Follow up with creators and ensure agreed content is published. \* Build long-term relationships with high-performing creators. \* Track creator collaborations, content links, views, engagement, costs, and results. Core Goal: Generate approximately 4–5 qualified influencer Instagram Reels or TikTok posts per TuTugether location each month. *Social Media & Content* \* Help manage TuTugether’s Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms. \* Create, film, and edit short-form video content. \* Capture customer experiences, projects, events, and behind-the-scenes moments. \* Develop creative ideas for Reels and TikToks. \* Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for TuTugether to participate. \* Maintain a consistent content calendar. \* Encourage customer-generated content and social sharing. *Local Marketing* \* Develop marketing ideas for individual TuTugether locations. \* Support promotions for date nights, birthdays, private events, holidays, and seasonal campaigns. \* Identify potential partnerships with universities, student organizations, malls, apartment communities, local businesses, and community groups. \* Assist with new-store-opening marketing campaigns. Performance Tracking \* Maintain an organized influencer and marketing database. \* Track social media and influencer performance. \* Monitor views, engagement, bookings, promo codes, leads, and other measurable results. \* Prepare simple monthly reports showing what worked and what should be improved. *Who We’re Looking For* The ideal candidate: \* Has 1–3 years of experience in social media, marketing, influencer marketing, content creation, or a related field. \* Understands Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and short-form video. \* Is comfortable proactively contacting influencers and creators. \* Is persistent and comfortable following up. \* Can personally film and edit short-form videos. \* Has strong visual taste and understands current social media trends. \* Is familiar with tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms. \* Is highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and locations. \* Is self-motivated and does not wait for opportunities to come to them. \* Communicates well with creators, store managers, employees, and customers. \* Understands that marketing should ultimately help generate awareness, customers, bookings, and revenue. Experience with Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads, email/SMS marketing, Xiaohongshu/RED, or analytics is a plus but not required. *Compensation* Base Salary: $42,000–$48,000 per year, depending on experience. Performance Bonus: Up to $500 per month. Monthly bonuses are based on influencer campaign execution, content quality, consistency, and overall marketing performance. *Work Environment* This is a hybrid position, but the Marketing & Social Media Manager will primarily work from a TuTugether location. Being physically present in the store is important because we want this person to understand our customers, capture real content, see what’s happening in the business, and continuously identify new marketing opportunities. Some remote work flexibility may be available. Occasional travel to other TuTugether locations may be required. *How to Apply* Please submit your resume. If available, please also include examples or links to: \* Social media accounts you have managed \* TikToks or Reels you have created \* Influencer campaigns you have worked on \* Other relevant marketing or content work Please answer the following question with your application: TuTugether wants each location to have 4–5 local influencer Reels, or TikToks published every month. How would you find the right creators, contact them, arrange collaborations, and make sure the content actually gets posted? We care about creativity, initiative, and execution — not just what’s on your resume. Pay: $42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tempe, AZ 85281

This role doesn't clearly match a profession on the USMCA (TN) list.

Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.

Salary vs prevailing wage
Below Level IMarket Research Analysts and Marketing Specialists · Phoenix-Mesa-Chandler, AZ. Annual prevailing wages set by the Department of Labor (OFLC).
| Level | Prevailing wage | H-1B lottery odds* |
|---|---|---|
| Level I | $46,592 | ~15% |
| Level II | $64,896 | ~31% |
| Level III | $83,221 | ~46% |
| Level IV | $101,525 | ~61% |
This job pays $42,000–$48,000 a year — below the Level I prevailing wage. For H-1B the employer must pay at least the prevailing wage, so the offer would have to go up.
* Odds are DHS projections for the FY2027 wage-weighted lottery (actual results vary by year and employer). Since the FY2027 cap season the H-1B lottery is weighted by wage level: Level I = 1 entry, II = 2, III = 3, IV = 4. The level is set by the offered wage against the prevailing wage for the occupation and worksite. Separately, a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions for workers outside the US was announced in 2025; as of September 2026 a federal court ruling keeps it unenforceable while appeals continue — check the current status.
