Position Summary: An intern supports the assigned design department by assisting with a variety of tasks, including special project assignments and active participation in project design and documentation, to gain practical experience and support their educational development.

Compensation for this position is $22-27/hourly, commensurate with experience, education and certifications. The provided range is a good faith estimate based on the requirements described within the job description. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist senior or lead engineers and project managers with basic design tasks, including research, simple studies, and layout support
- Help prepare drawings and documents for programming, schematic design, modeling, graphics, design development, and construction phases
- Support the creation of presentation and marketing materials
- Assist with construction phase activities, including participating in site visits, supporting RFI responses, reviewing shop drawings, and helping update record drawings
- Follow established quality control procedures and ask questions as needed
- Learn and apply department and company standards and best practices
- Develop basic design, analysis, and technical skills through hands-on experience
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with team members
- Receive guidance and direction from supervisors and team leaders
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, interior designers, and other multidisciplinary team members
