Job description
Real, proprietary data is what frontier AI labs need next. This company supplies it. They went from $0 to a multi-eight-figure run rate in months, they're VC-backed, and the team is 14 people.
They're adding about 6 new sales reps and need their first GTM engineer to build the machine behind them. You'll own the automation, CRM, and data infrastructure so AEs and SDRs spend their time selling, not doing admin work.
What you'll build:
- Outbound infrastructure: email warm-ups, campaigns, and multi-channel sequences that run at volume
- CRM integrations, enrichment pipelines, and data quality systems
- Live dashboards for SQL volume, conversion, and pipeline health
- Experiments on new tools, measured honestly, keeping what works and cutting what doesn't
You have:
- 1–5 years in GTM engineering, RevOps, or growth engineering
- Built enrichment pipelines and outbound infrastructure for a sales team yourself
- Daily use of Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools to ship automations
- Python and SQL
- A stable work history, meaning no pattern of multiple roles under 1 year (contract roles excluded)
- No "Open to Work" banner on your LinkedIn profile
Bonus: Series A/B startup experience, and production work with LLM APIs (prompt design, eval loops).
Stack: Attio, Clay, SQL, Python, LLM APIs, Cursor, Claude Code
This is a founding role with real ownership and direct access to leadership.
MUST BE LOCATED IN THE US AND OPEN TO RELOCATION
Visa transfers (OPT, H-1B) are supported for EXCEPTIONAL candidates who can verify their work history.
How to apply (required)
- Send your resume with PORTFOLIO AND GITHUB link to ebony@emtgroupellc.com
- Record yourself answering the questions below on camera and send a private link. Unlisted YouTube, Loom, or Google Drive all work. Applications without a video won't be reviewed:
1. Are you able to work in person 5 days a week from the office in Dumbo, Brooklyn? If you're not local, are you willing to relocate?
2. What AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) do you use daily, and what's the most complex automation or pipeline you've shipped with them?
3. Walk us through your hands-on experience building enrichment pipelines, outbound infrastructure, or CRM integrations. What did you build, and what volume did it support?
4. What are your salary expectations?
5. How actively are you exploring new opportunities right now?
DISCLAIMER: Employment verification
Because of the rise in fake profiles and made-up work histories on LinkedIn, we reserve the right to request employment verification for any position listed on your resume or LinkedIn profile, at any stage of the process.
Visa sponsorship record
No public sponsorship records foundWe didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name EMT Groupe, LLC in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).
Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.

- Mentioned in the listing
H-1B, OPT
- H-1B cap-exempt employer
Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).
- TN (citizens of Canada and Mexico)
This kind of role may fit the USMCA profession “Engineer” — it depends on the actual duties. No lottery, no cap; you need the matching degree or license.
- E-3 (Australia) and H-1B1 (Chile, Singapore)
Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.
- O-1 (extraordinary ability)
For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.
- STEM OPT extension (F-1 students)
Requires an E-Verify employer. We didn't find this company in the E-Verify list — ask HR.
Salary vs prevailing wage
Engineers, All Other · New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ. Annual prevailing wages set by the Department of Labor (OFLC).
| Level | Prevailing wage | H-1B lottery odds* |
|---|---|---|
| Level I | $89,170 | ~15% |
| Level II | $113,942 | ~31% |
| Level III | $138,715 | ~46% |
| Level IV | $163,488 | ~61% |
The listing has no salary, so we can't place it on a wage level. Ask the employer which wage level they'd file at: Level III–IV registrations get 3–4 entries in the H-1B lottery.
* Odds are DHS projections for the FY2027 wage-weighted lottery (actual results vary by year and employer). Since the FY2027 cap season the H-1B lottery is weighted by wage level: Level I = 1 entry, II = 2, III = 3, IV = 4. The level is set by the offered wage against the prevailing wage for the occupation and worksite. Separately, a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions for workers outside the US was announced in 2025; as of September 2026 a federal court ruling keeps it unenforceable while appeals continue — check the current status.
