We look for candidates who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products,processesand systems by being accountable, having a voice, andtaking action.A DAY IN THE LIFE:POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct sales calls to promote and sell Medtronic CardioVascular Surgery Therapies to existing and competitive customers based on a strategic planDevelop, implement, and effectively follow through with a quarterly strategic sales plan to achieve sales goals andobjectivesCreate a detailed forecast with customer commitments as a measure of successIdentify, qualify, and close new and existing customers consistent with established sales plans and key accountsMaximize revenue potential by targeting specific customers to gain sales leads and develop business opportunities to drive growthDevelop andmaintaina high-level ofexpertisein CardioVascular Surgery Therapies productsProvide feedback and information on competitive activity, changes in markets,distributionand pricingIdentifyand communicate to other departments (i.e.R&D, Operations, and Marketing) suggestions for new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications based upon customer needs and requirementsCoordinate customer activities at all assigned meetingsTrain and educate customers on the safe and effective use of Medtronic productsComplete all administrative reporting accurately;in a timely mannerand in the requested format (i.e.expense reports, account profiles and analysis, daily planners, weekly activity, competitive updates, and inventory log)Manage time,assetsand resources in acost effectivemanner; manage territory budgetin accordance withthe strategic territory plan and within the guidelines of the Regional ManagerMaintain adequate inventory (trunk stock) andassistin the reallocation and delivery of productMaintain knowledge of current industry trends and all Medtronic products.
