Job description

WHO WE ARE

ODDITY is a consumer tech company that builds and scales digital-first brands to disrupt the offline-dominated beauty and wellness industries. The company serves over 40 million users with its AI-driven online platform, deploying data science to identify consumer needs, and developing solutions in the form of beauty and wellness products. ODDITY owns IL MAKIAGE, SpoiledChild, and medical-grade skincare and telehealth platform METHODIQ.

ODDITY LABS is our cutting-edge biotechnology R&D center, powering science-backed product innovation through the discovery and development of new molecules, probiotics, peptides, and other biological modalities. Unlike pharmaceuticals, ingredient innovation in the beauty and wellness industry has remained stagnant for decades. We are deploying patented, proprietary technologies and capabilities, including AI-based molecule discovery and advanced phenotypic databases, to understand the biological mechanisms that drive cellular behavior and develop uniquely efficacious products for beauty and wellness applications. Innovations from ODDITY LABS will power game-changing products through ODDITY’s current brands, as well as future brands.

ODDITY operates with business headquarters in New York City, an R&D center in Tel Aviv, Israel, and a biotechnology lab in Boston. Our culture is fast-paced, innovative, agile, and offers every team member the opportunity to drive a big impact.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an AI Automation Operations Manager to help run the day-to-day operations of ODDITY LABS and to change how that work gets done. Alongside core operations responsibilities, a major part of this role is building AI tools and agents that carry out operational work on their own. You will identify the right processes, build and test the tools, deploy them into daily use, and ultimately oversee them: monitoring their output, maintaining their quality, and owning the results. This role is a great fit for an organized, hands-on operator who is excited about AI and wants to grow into managing a team of both people and AI agents.

In this role you will:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of ODDITY LABS, including procurement, vendor and CRO coordination, sample and shipment tracking, and internal reporting.
  • Map operational workflows across R&D, lab, and business teams, and identify where AI tools and automation can take over repetitive, manual work.
  • Build AI-powered tools and agents (using LLMs such as Claude or ChatGPT, automation platforms, and light scripting) that complete operational tasks end-to-end with minimal human input.
  • Test every tool before launch: define success criteria, check outputs against real cases, and document edge cases and failure modes.
  • Deploy tools into daily use, train teammates to work with them, gather feedback, and iterate quickly.
  • Own deployed AI tools after launch: monitor their accuracy and performance, review their output, fix issues, and serve as the accountable owner for the work they produce.
  • Set guardrails for every tool, including human-review checkpoints, access permissions, and data-handling practices that keep confidential R&D and company data secure.
  • Maintain clear documentation for each tool: what it does, how it was tested, who relies on it, and how to escalate when something goes wrong.
  • Measure and report the impact of automation (time saved, error rates, turnaround times) to leadership.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 1-3 years of experience in operations, business operations, consulting, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced startup, biotech, or tech environment.
  • Hands-on experience building with AI tools beyond everyday use, such as creating custom GPTs or agents, multi-step prompt workflows, or AI-driven automations.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable owning a process end-to-end, including when something breaks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain how a tool works to non-technical colleagues.
  • A builder's mindset: curious, quick to learn new tools, and motivated to find better ways to work.

PREFERRED

  • Basic scripting skills in Python or JavaScript and experience working with APIs.
  • Experience in a laboratory, R&D, or scientific environment (e.g., lab operations, procurement, or sample management).
  • Experience evaluating and monitoring AI output quality, or working with data tools

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Visa sponsorship available (OPT, STEM OPT, H1B, TN).
  • This position is in-office in our Cambridge, Massachusetts office and laboratory.
  • The salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with experience.

Visa sponsorship record

No public sponsorship records found

We didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name ODDITY in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).

Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.
