Job description

About the Company

Our client is a venture-backed, 14-person company supplying proprietary enterprise data to frontier AI labs. Based in Dumbo, Brooklyn, the team acquires business data, transforms it into de-identified datasets and licenses it for AI model development. The company has grown to a multi-eight-figure run rate in a matter of months.

About the Role

Own the full sales cycle for startup wind-downs and data acquisition as an Account Executive. This consultative role combines empathy for founders with firm commercial judgment, including deals where the company pays for data. Sales cycles average roughly 13 days. Work onsite five days a week in Dumbo, Brooklyn.

What You Will Do

  • Run end-to-end conversations with founders winding down their startups, close wind-down deals and acquire datasets for AI training.
  • Build at least 25% of your own pipeline through outbound prospecting and identify companies showing distress signals.
  • Negotiate data pricing and legal terms, and walk away from poor-fit deals.
  • Improve the sales playbook and target 10 or more datasets acquired per month with 40% or higher close rates on qualified deals.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Approximately 2 to 4 years in client-facing sales, consulting, investment banking or partnerships at high-growth, talent-dense startups.
  • Prior experience at a data or AI company, AI lab or high-growth startup.
  • A concrete record of hitting or exceeding quota and independently building outbound pipeline.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and judgment with founders and business leaders.
  • Evidence of sustained performance in fast-moving startup environments.
  • Ability to work onsite five days a week in Brooklyn.
  • Data licensing, sourcing or data sales experience is a plus.

Tools

Salesforce or HubSpot, sales engagement tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and AI prospecting tools.

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits

$125,000-$150,000 USD base salary plus competitive equity, with terms confirmed in the offer. Medical, dental and vision premiums are fully covered. Unlimited PTO, 10 company holidays, a monthly wellness stipend and a $500 in-office desk setup allowance. Visa transfers such as OPT and H1B transfers are supported.

Why Join

Help build a new data acquisition category in a growing, in-person team. Own fast sales cycles, work directly with founders and influence the playbook as the business scales.

Visa sponsorship record

No public sponsorship records found

We didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name Raydar in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).

Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.

Which visas can work for this job

  • Mentioned in the listing

    H-1B, OPT

  • H-1B cap-exempt employer

Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).

  • O-1 (extraordinary ability)

For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.
