This role combines content creation, social media management, local community engagement, and campaign execution to build brand awareness, attract new customers, and encourage repeat visits. The ideal candidate enjoys food and hospitality, understands digital trends, and can turn ideas into engaging campaigns while managing day-to-day marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

  • Manage the social media content calendar across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Rednote.
  • Create engaging photos, short-form videos, captions, and promotional materials that reflect each brand’s identity.
  • Visit restaurant locations to capture content and highlight menu items, team members, and guest experiences.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and online reviews, coordinating responses with restaurant management.

Marketing Campaigns & Promotions

  • Plan and execute campaigns supporting seasonal menus, product launches, special events, and new restaurant openings.
  • Coordinate email campaigns, customer loyalty promotions, and digital advertising.
  • Maintain accurate menus, business information, and promotional content across websites, Google Business Profiles, and relevant ordering platforms.
  • Work with operations teams to ensure promotions are clearly communicated and consistently executed.

Community & Influencer Partnerships

  • Identify and coordinate partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and content creators.
  • Support influencer visits, tastings, community events, and neighborhood marketing activities.
  • Develop initiatives that drive local awareness, catering inquiries, and restaurant traffic.

Performance Tracking & Coordination

  • Track campaign performance, social engagement, website traffic, and promotional results.
  • Prepare regular reports with practical recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Research customer preferences, competitors, and emerging restaurant marketing trends.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on schedule and within approved budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation; restaurant, hospitality, or consumer brand experience preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience creating social media content, including photography and short-form video.
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and digital advertising.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with restaurant teams and travel between locations as needed.
  • Availability for occasional evening or weekend events and content shoots.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple restaurant locations or brands.
  • Experience with influencer outreach, local partnerships, and restaurant openings.
  • Familiarity with customer loyalty programs and online ordering platforms.
  • English and Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Visa sponsorship record

No public sponsorship records found

We didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name Nice Day Chinese in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).

Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.

Which visas can work for this job

Occupation: Market Research Analysts And Marketing Specialists (SOC 13-1161).

  • H-1B cap-exempt employer

Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).

  • TN (citizens of Canada and Mexico)

This role doesn't clearly match a profession on the USMCA (TN) list.

  • E-3 (Australia) and H-1B1 (Chile, Singapore)

Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.

  • O-1 (extraordinary ability)

For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.

Salary vs prevailing wage

Level I (entry)

Market Research Analysts And Marketing Specialists · New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ. Annual prevailing wages set by the Department of Labor (OFLC).

L1L2L3L4
LevelPrevailing wageH-1B lottery odds*
Level I$64,834~15%
Level II$85,467~31%
Level III$106,122~46%
Level IV$126,755~61%

This job pays $65,000–$75,000 a year — that's Level I (entry). In the wage-weighted H-1B lottery a Level I registration gets 1 entry; estimated selection chance about 15% — below average.

* Odds are DHS projections for the FY2027 wage-weighted lottery (actual results vary by year and employer). Since the FY2027 cap season the H-1B lottery is weighted by wage level: Level I = 1 entry, II = 2, III = 3, IV = 4. The level is set by the offered wage against the prevailing wage for the occupation and worksite. Separately, a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions for workers outside the US was announced in 2025; as of September 2026 a federal court ruling keeps it unenforceable while appeals continue — check the current status.
