Job description
INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY Southeast Missouri
Position Highlights:
- Established Interventional Practice: Join an established cardiology program with 516 cath cases and 194 PCIs performed in 2025, providing immediate procedural volume with room to grow.
- Balanced Clinical Schedule: Approximately 2–2.5 days in the cath lab and 2–2.5 days in clinic, with flexibility based on volume and practice development.
- Major Program Investment: A second cath lab is scheduled to open in early 2028, expanding procedural capacity and dedicated cath lab access.
- Favorable Call Schedule: 1:4 or better call with cardiovascular APP support for inpatient rounding and coverage.
- Strong Support: Work alongside Interventional and Non-Invasive Cardiologists plus dedicated cardiovascular APPs in a newly remodeled Heart Health Clinic.
- Professional Growth: Opportunity to help shape the continued growth of the cardiovascular program, with the infrastructure to support physicians interested in higher procedural and patient volumes.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $750K Guaranteed: $750,000 annual guarantee for two years, providing significant income stability while building the practice.
- $1M+ Earning Potential: Transition to a productivity-based compensation model after the guarantee, with established high production supporting seven-figure earning potential.
- Production Flexibility: Target production is approximately 10,600 wRVUs or greater, with the program able to accommodate physicians producing approximately 11,000–20,000 wRVUs depending on desired volume.
- $50K Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 sign-on incentive structured as a forgivable loan.
- Student Loan Assistance: Up to $100,000 in student loan assistance.
- Training Stipend: Fellows may receive $2,000 per month for up to 18 months—up to $36,000 before starting.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Four weeks of PTO plus six holidays, retirement plans with employer matching, malpractice coverage with tail, CME time, and a $4,000 CME allowance.
- Relocation Assistance: Comprehensive relocation support for qualifying moves plus an additional allowance for uncovered expenses.
Qualifications:
- Degree: MD or DO; qualified international medical graduates considered.
- Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
- Skillset: Coronary intervention with opportunity for peripheral intervention; physicians comfortable with both outpatient and inpatient cardiology are preferred.
- Experience: Experienced Interventional Cardiologists and 2027–2028 fellowship graduates are encouraged to consider the opportunity.
- Sponsorship: J-1 and H-1B sponsorship available, including J-1 waiver support through the Delta Regional Authority (DRA) with dedicated immigration legal and HR support.
