Job description
Well established OBGYN GROUP practice (with offices in Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, CA / Coastal Los Angeles, Torrance, Hawthorne /South Bay, South Gate, Carson, CA, East Los Angeles / Boyle Heights, and Hollywood), is looking to add an OBGYN to their growing group practice. MDs, DOs and H1B visa physicians are welcome to apply as we thrive from our diverse background of physicians.
Join an amazing group of 9 OBGYNs, 3 Nurse Practitioners, 6 Physician Assistants, and 3 midwives. This position is a great opportunity for the candidate to be able to enjoy the perks of being in a private practice with optional mentoring if the candidate desires. All the providers are very welcoming and often get together outside of work; it's a fun group of people! We offer a very competitive salary, sign-on bonus, great work life balance, 4 weeks paid vacation per year, company expense account (car payments and insurance, student loan payments, CME, and many other daily expenses), and good earning potential through productivity. License, DEA, and certificate fees are covered. Health Insurance, 401k, covered malpractice and tail insurance also provided.
See details below for more information about the providers and the practice.
We have 2 open positions. First position is in Los Angeles area and is a general ObGyn position. This position includes performing surgery, attending clinic and 4 in-house calls per month as a laborist (with POST CALL DAY OFF of all work activities). The second position is in South Bay, CA and will also be a general ObGyn position. This second position includes performing surgery, attending clinic and 5 "At-Home" calls per month. (with POST CALL DAY OFF of all work activities).
We see a huge mix of socioeconomic status (anything from Hollywood actresses to struggling Medi-cal families).
- Strong focus on minimally invasive surgery including robotic surgery, hysteroscopic procedures (both in the office and at hospitals), and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
- There is a great mix of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Very accessible Perinatologists and Gynecological Oncologist to answer any questions you have.
- The associates in the practice are always available to help, assist, mentor and backup.
- We are looking for someone with good bedside manner and a team player.
- The offices are state-of-the-art and have a very robust easy to use EMR system, minor procedure rooms (as we try to do as many procedures in the office as we can to avoid wasting time waiting for turnover at the hospital), and advanced ultrasounds in most exam rooms.
- We admit to a top rated tertiary care facility which has a level III NICU.
- Amazing work environment and endless room for growth.
- Live and work in one the most desired areas.
- Easy access to the ocean, making it the city's leading recreational hub of on-the-water activities.
- There is no shortage of coastal bike trails, seaside parks and breezy beaches to enjoy in your free time. Mountain sports and activities are very close and hiking is always a nearby option.

Visa sponsorship record
No public sponsorship records foundWe didn't find H-1B, H-1B1, E-3 or green card (PERM) filings under the name Marina ObGyn in the Department of Labor and USCIS data. That doesn't mean the job can't be sponsored — the company may file under a different legal name, be new to sponsorship, or sponsor a visa that isn't in these datasets (for example H-2B or J-1).
Tip: ask the recruiter early, in writing, which visa they sponsor and whether they cover the legal and filing fees.

Occupation: Obstetricians And Gynecologists (SOC 29-1218).
- Mentioned in the listing
H-1B
- H-1B cap-exempt employer
Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).
- TN (citizens of Canada and Mexico)
This kind of role may fit the USMCA profession “Physician (teaching or research only)” — it depends on the actual duties. No lottery, no cap; you need the matching degree or license.
- E-3 (Australia) and H-1B1 (Chile, Singapore)
Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.
- O-1 (extraordinary ability)
For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.
Salary vs prevailing wage
Level III (experienced)Obstetricians And Gynecologists · California (state median of areas). Annual prevailing wages set by the Department of Labor (OFLC).
| Level | Prevailing wage | H-1B lottery odds* |
|---|---|---|
| Level I | $129,604 | ~15% |
| Level II | $179,670 | ~31% |
| Level III | $246,240 | ~46% |
| Level IV | $312,478 | ~61% |
This job pays $300,000–$350,000 a year — that's Level III (experienced). In the wage-weighted H-1B lottery a Level III registration gets 3 entries; estimated selection chance about 46% — better than average.
* Odds are DHS projections for the FY2027 wage-weighted lottery (actual results vary by year and employer). Since the FY2027 cap season the H-1B lottery is weighted by wage level: Level I = 1 entry, II = 2, III = 3, IV = 4. The level is set by the offered wage against the prevailing wage for the occupation and worksite. Separately, a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions for workers outside the US was announced in 2025; as of September 2026 a federal court ruling keeps it unenforceable while appeals continue — check the current status.
