Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) Integration Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Dell Boomi integration development to support a client migrating from Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro WFM.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying integrations between UKG Pro WFM and enterprise applications using Boomi. Candidates must have participated in at least one successful Kronos WFC to UKG Pro WFM migration, with practical knowledge of legacy data migration, integration mapping, transformation, validation, and post-migration support.
This role requires a hands-on technical professional who can independently develop and troubleshoot complex integrations while collaborating with UKG functional consultants, HRIS teams, payroll teams, and other enterprise application stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrations between UKG Pro WFM and enterprise applications using Dell Boomi.
Participate in the end-to-end migration from Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) to UKG Pro WFM, including integration assessment, design, development, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
Analyze existing Kronos WFC interfaces and determine integration changes required for the target UKG Pro WFM environment.
Develop and maintain Boomi integration processes, connectors, APIs, mappings, transformations, and reusable integration components.
Build integrations for employee and organizational data, timekeeping, schedules, labor data, attendance, and payroll-related information, as applicable to the project scope.
Perform source-to-target data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and validation to ensure data accuracy during migration.
Work with UKG Pro WFM APIs, web services, file-based interfaces, and other supported integration mechanisms.
Configure and manage Boomi processes, including error handling, exception management, logging, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Integrate UKG Pro WFM with HRIS, HCM, payroll, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
Support integration testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and regression testing.
Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, API issues, and production incidents.
Support migration cutover, reconciliation, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.
Collaborate with UKG functional consultants, business analysts, QA teams, and technical stakeholders to resolve integration dependencies.
Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, mapping documents, deployment plans, and support documentation.
Qualifications:
UKG Pro WFM: Strong hands-on experience developing and supporting integrations with UKG Pro Workforce Management.
Dell Boomi: Proven experience building and deploying integrations using Boomi AtomSphere, including process design, connectors, data mapping, transformations, and error handling.
Kronos WFC to UKG Pro WFM Migration: Must have completed or played a substantial hands-on integration development role in at least one migration project from Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Pro WFM.
Integration Development: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, file-based integrations, and data transformation.

Occupation: Software Developers (SOC 15-1252).
- Mentioned in the listing
H-1B
- H-1B cap-exempt employer
Regular cap-subject employer — a new H-1B needs to win the lottery in March (unless you already hold cap-counted H-1B status).
- TN (citizens of Canada and Mexico)
This kind of role may fit the USMCA profession “Computer Systems Analyst (or Engineer, for engineering-degree holders)” — it depends on the actual duties. No lottery, no cap; you need the matching degree or license.
- E-3 (Australia) and H-1B1 (Chile, Singapore)
Same degree requirement as H-1B, but no lottery and a separate quota that is rarely filled.
- O-1 (extraordinary ability)
For candidates with awards, publications, press, a high salary or critical roles at distinguished organizations. No cap, no lottery; the employer files a petition.
- STEM OPT extension (F-1 students)
Requires an E-Verify employer. We didn't find this company in the E-Verify list — ask HR.
Salary vs prevailing wage
Software Developers · New York-Newark-Jersey City, NY-NJ. Annual prevailing wages set by the Department of Labor (OFLC).
| Level | Prevailing wage | H-1B lottery odds* |
|---|---|---|
| Level I | $109,845 | ~15% |
| Level II | $137,717 | ~31% |
| Level III | $165,589 | ~46% |
| Level IV | $193,461 | ~61% |
The listing has no salary, so we can't place it on a wage level. Ask the employer which wage level they'd file at: Level III–IV registrations get 3–4 entries in the H-1B lottery.
* Odds are DHS projections for the FY2027 wage-weighted lottery (actual results vary by year and employer). Since the FY2027 cap season the H-1B lottery is weighted by wage level: Level I = 1 entry, II = 2, III = 3, IV = 4. The level is set by the offered wage against the prevailing wage for the occupation and worksite. Separately, a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions for workers outside the US was announced in 2025; as of September 2026 a federal court ruling keeps it unenforceable while appeals continue — check the current status.
